Slay After a Fresh Start
I was the malicious supporting female character born with a silver spoon and I was not happy about it.
In my first life, my father brought back my half-sister and I treated her well.
But she transferred all of our family assets and set fire, trapping us in the villa.
She begged me to spare her in my second life.
I smiled and said, "Sure."
I was a malicious supporting female character. Of course, I got to live up to this title.
The nightmare was about to begin.
In the first life, she took away my fiancé, my brother, my friends, and even my inheritance.
I used to think that they liked Abigail Scarlett.
It was not until I was about to die that I realized I was the malicious supporting female character in this novel, while Abigail was the protagonist.
She activated a fate-changing system, so as long as I treated her well, the people around her would like her more, and her appearance would also change.
Abigail couldn't have it her way in this life.
I looked down on Abigail from above, with my arms crossed. She hid behind my father, looking like a little child.
My father, Maxwell Scarlett, led the girl up the stairs and introduced, "Aurora, this is your older sister, Abigail."
I lowered my head and glanced at the freshly done manicure. Without lifting my head, I asked, "She's a few months older than me, right?"
Maxwell felt a bit embarrassed. "About four to five months."
I said sarcastically, "She's quite elder, huh."
Maxwell turned around and gave the girl a look.
Abigail grabbed my hand as soon as she approached, crying with tears streaming down her face. "Aurora, it's been seventeen years, and we finally meet. From now on, we are a family."
I shook off her hand and couldn't help but sneer, "Who said we are family? How come I didn't know I had a sister?"
The child of the other woman didn't deserve to be one of my family.
Abigail was taken aback for a moment, never expecting that I would embarrass her like this.
I slightly turned my head and exchanged a glance with my brother. In an instant, we both understood each other without saying a word and nodded in agreement.
"Just stay here for the time being."
Maxwell secretly breathed a sigh of relief because I didn't make things difficult for him.
"I have already arranged the enrollment procedures. Tomorrow, Abigail will go to school with you. You are a family, so please take care of each other at school, okay?"
I looked up at Maxwell and didn't speak.
Maxwell looked slightly embarrassed, wishing he hadn't said such words earlier.
After all, I had changed a lot recently and he noticed that I was no longer the kind and nice girl as before.
And my look was scary in his eyes, even though he was my father.
I turned around and shouted downstairs, "Mia, make a guest room for Abigail on the fourth floor."
"Thank you, Aurora."
With that, Abigail wiped away her tears and reached out to hold my hand again.
I turned my body to the side and skillfully dodged.
I couldn't respect her. In the past, my mother suffered from postpartum depression and then c...
